Reddig-Glo Color Chips - 4 Oz.
In addition to the dye color blocks and liquid candle coloring we also offer the diamond shaped Reddig-glo color chips. Each chip is capable of coloring at least one pound of wax (or more if a lighter shade is desired). The addition of wax additives such as Sno-Wax, Luster Crystals, Stearic Acid or Vybar will cause the colors to lighten. Chips are packaged in 10's, 20's, 50's and 4 oz (containing about 130-135 chips).
Colors marked with "(p)" are pigments and are fluorescent (will glow under a black light). Pigments are less susceptible to fading and "bleeding". They do not actually dissolve in wax but rather become suspended in wax. Therefore, when using these colors, the wax must be stirred well and any color particles not in suspension should not be poured into mold.

Liquid Color Dye - 1/2 oz. Bottle
Liquid dyes and our color blocks are the easiest way to color wax. Liquid dyes have close to the coloring strength of powder dyes but are very easy to use. Highly concentrated. We suggest as a starting point that you use about 0.01% to 0.03% of the liquid dyes in wax to obtain a medium to strong color. This is equivalent to about 1-5 drops of liquid dye per one pound of wax.

Color Fading Inhibitor - 4 oz.
As with most dyes, whenever fading is a problem we strongly recommend using our Color Fading Inhibitor. It will dramatically improve fade resistance, especially in pale colors such as pink, peach, honeydew melon, etc., where very low levels of dye are used. Recommended usage level is one teaspoonful in 2 pounds of wax.

Dye Flakes - Select From 35 Colors
Dye flakes are high quality professional candle dyes which have good combustion and do not clog wick during burn as do with pigments. Will produce rich colors that are resistant to fading and bleeding. Redommended usage is 0.1% to 0.2% by weight of wax formulation (typically between 1 and 2 grams per kilogram.....between 0.5 gram (0.018 oz) and 1 gram (0.035 oz) per pound of wax. For the most precise measuring, we recommend using a good digital gram scale. Size of flakes may vary by color. One ounce of dye flakes will color approximately 45-65 pounds of wax. Available in 1/2 oz and 1 oz.

Pigment Color Chunks - Select From 57 Colors
These are pigments ground in wax and used mainly for coloring Cut 'N Curl (Cut N Carve) candles and novelty candles. Used for overdipping or outside coloring of candle only. Not to be used for coloring entire core of candle because pigments can block up the wick and interfere with burning. Pigments ground in wax do not bleed out or fade as with some candle dyes. Recommended usage is 2-5% in wax. To use simply weigh out desired amount of pigment chunks (approximately 3.2 oz to 8 oz per 10 lbs of wax) and melt and stir well in dipping wax. Can be used as an overdip on candles or can be applied with paint brush. Available in 4 oz, 8 oz and 1 pound.
